Orange County Sports Golden Ticket Official Rules:
Please read these Official Rules before entering the Orange County Sports Golden Ticket Opportunity Drawing (the “Drawing”). NO PURCHASE, DONATION OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. By entering the drawing, you represent that you meet all of the below-stated requirements and agree to be bound by these Official Rules, and by the decisions of Orange County Sports Commission, (the “Sponsor”), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, or its representative.
A single entry is $100 and provides purchaser with one (1) entry into a drawing to win the following:
Pair of season tickets to the Anaheim Ducks 2024/25 Regular Season
Pair of season tickets to the Los Angeles Angels 2024 Regular Season
Pair of season tickets to the Orange County Soccer Club 2024 Regular Season
Pair of VIP passes to the 2024 US Open of Surfing
Pair of Knott's Berry Farm Season Passes
There are 350 entries available - may the odds forever be in each sports fan's favor. All proceeds benefit local 501c3 non-profit, Orange County Sports Commission.
The winner will be drawn at a 2023 Anaheim Ducks Regular Season Game in November. Winner need not be present to win. Void where prohibited by law.
*Seat locations are the sole discretion of each professional team and are based upon availability. Winner will receive regular season tickets with the option to purchase post-season tickets, if applicable. This purchase is not tax deductible.
1. Prize(s). The prize(s) that may be awarded to the eligible winner(s) are not, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. All prizes must be redeemed within 30 days of the Drawing end date unless otherwise stated in these Official Rules. If a winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified for any reason, the Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, in its sole discretion.
2. Eligibility and Limitations. Participants and winner(s) must be U.S. residents. The Drawing is only open to anyone eighteen (18) years of age and older as of the date of purchase. Only one winner per ticket is allowed. Need not be present to win. Employees of the Sponsor are not eligible to participate and win. VOID IN ANY JURISDICTION WHERE PARTICIPATION IS PROHIBITED.
All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By entering the Drawing, you represent and warrant to Sponsor that you meet these criteria. You further represent and warrant that your participation in or attempted participation in the Drawing does not violate any federal, state, or local law or regulation that governs your entry into the Drawing. By participating in the Drawing, you unconditionally accept and agree to comply with and abide by these Rules and Regulations and Sponsor’s interpretation of and decisions under these Official Rules, which will be final and binding in all respects.
3. Entry. You may enter the Drawing, if you meet the eligibility requirements, by agreeing to follow these Official Rules and purchasing Drawing ticket. All entries must be completed by the end of the applicable Drawing Period. The Sponsor is not liable for any lost, later, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, undelivered, or destroyed tickets regardless of cause or person responsible including, but not limited to, any problem or technical malfunction of any computer, online system or server or technical problem. NO PURCHASE, DONATION OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. To receive a free entry and enter alternative method please complete the form at ocsportscommission.com/media.
4. Drawing. The prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries during the eligible Drawing Period. The winner will be drawn at a 2023 Anaheim Ducks Regular Season Game in November. Winner need not be present to win.
5. How to Claim a Prize. To claim a prize, the holder of the selected entry (a “Prize Claimant”) must contact Sponsor and present the winning entry in person to 2099 S State College Blvd Suite 600, Anaheim CA, 92806. Representative by calling 714-765-2881 within thirty (30) days of the drawing. The entry is the only valid receipt for claiming a prize and must be redeemed either in person or via mail. Each Prize Claimant must provide Sponsor with all information required to claim a prize (including tax identification information).
The Prize Claimant will receive a Drawing Award Receipt (“Affidavit”) in the form approved by Sponsor which must be executed and returned to Sponsor prior to receipt of the Prize. The Affidavit will include consent to the use of the Prize Claimant’s name, photograph, and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation.
In the event a Prize Claimant: (a) does not notify Sponsor within thirty (30) days of drawing; (b) is ruled ineligible for any reason; (c) refuses the prize: or (d) does not return an executed Affidavit within thirty (30) days, the Prize will be forfeited and will be retained by Sponsor. Sponsor has no obligation to contact potential winners. All prizes will be delivered via mail prior to the first game of the season, provided that winner has delivered the winning entry, executed Affidavit, and all other required documents to Sponsor. In the event of unclaimed winnings, Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, in its sole discretion.
6. PR, Publicity, Promotion; Use of Personal Information. By participating in the Drawing, where allowed by law, all participants and winner(s) grant the Sponsor exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other Drawings and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. By participating in the Drawing, where allowed by law, participants agree that Sponsor may disclose personal information obtained from participants in the Drawing to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes.
7. Release. By participating in the Drawing, each participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against the Sponsor, its employees and agents, the Drawing’s sponsors and their respective employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the Drawing, or from the use of any prize.
8. Taxes. For auction items, the tax-deductible amount is the price at which you purchased the item less the actual value, because no goods or services were provided in exchange for this contribution. For Golden Ticket, your purchase of an entry is not tax deductible. The cost of a entry is not deductible as a charitable contribution. Taxes on the value of the tickets will be paid by the Sponsor and is not the responsibility of the purchaser.
9. Conduct, Judging, and Decisions. By participating in the Drawing, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor personnel. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Raffle, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited. The Sponsor will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Drawing and the Sponsor’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the Drawing is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of the Sponsor, the Sponsor reserves the right to terminate this Drawing, or make such other decisions regarding the outcome as the Sponsor deems appropriate. All decisions will be made by the Sponsor and are final. The Sponsor may waive any of these rules in its sole discretion.
10. Disputes and Governing Law. The Drawing shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rule of any jurisdiction. Any claims regarding the Drawing that are not released, must be brought in the State or Federal Courts in Orange County, California, and Participant hereby consents to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for purposes of any such action.
The Drawing is void where prohibited by law.
